Testing System Vesta - is the software for develop tests, testing students and observe and calculate testing results. Vesta has good intuitive interface and provides you to make tests by yourself without programmers or any others computer specialists. Testing System is universal and simple to adapt for any educational tasks. Vesta is network product which store data on database server and working by client-server technology. For database server used Firebird (Free Borland Interbase Server analogue). Vesta can use tests and results database by Internet as well as by local network. Software package consists of: * Tests Development Environment * Testing Module * Reports Viewer * User manager Tests Development Environment provides tests design and modification. It is capable of creating any type of test questions - single choice, multiple choice and ordered (arranged) answer set. It supports rich (formatted) text and images in questions. For simplify question text used Microsoft Word Editor which starts from Vesta when it's needed to write question text. When word is closed Text is automatically will be imported to Vesta Development Environment. Testing module provides to process tests and store results to database. Report Viewer allows you to observe testing results and students testing process remotely, reports analyzing and reports generation with export to Microsoft Word or Excel. User manager allows managing of users, which can use testing module in the network and their passwords to connect Vesta database.
